It posts it to a Paypal account, the only way I know to remove it in cash is to link a bank account to Paypal. Otherwise you can use it to purchase online obviously.

^^^^^my understanding as well. I link a separate checking account that I use just for PayPal. Don't keep munch money in it. They will transfer your balance once ask within 24 to 48 hrs.

you have transfer your PP balance to your own checking account,
otherwise it stays in PPs account making them interest, till you click on transfer funds

I have a PP Debit/Credit card. Allows you to spend the balance like a normal bank card and withdraw funds from an ATM...

Paypal handles my merchant account for my biz, the debit card emails me receipts from every purchase and 1% cash back on all purchases

If you paid for it by credit card, I believe it should.

I know it does if you contact the credit card issuer when you get bored playing games with PayPal - which is why I use AmEx for all PayPal purchases over $50 or so...

Exactly what I do. I don't want Pay Pal connected to my credit card or main bank account. When I buy something, I transfer money into the bank account, when I sell something I transfer the money out of the account ASAP. There is never more than $30 left in it.

Ding, that's what I do too. And if you use is as credit/signature instead of debit/pin, they give you some % cash back at the end of each month.
Last month I spent $8,000 on business stuff. The cash back on it was decent.
