People who feel the compulsion to reply "ok" to every text message. It comes off like they're pissed at you and giving an attitude:

Ok.

ckelly78z 04-01-2016 03:16 AM

People who stand in front of the elevator doors assuming that no one needs to exit first.

People who come to my lab area because the cell phone reception is better, and then talk loudly on thier phones about personal stuff.

People who stop in the middle of the grocery isle to talk to friends correct a kid, or go searching for some food item.

People who are loud at whatever they do.

Mainly just people annoy me.

People that swing their car to the opposite side before making a turn.

Or ride the gravel shoulder before pulling off. wtf!!

Wheatberries. Are you kidding?

What some hippie started calling wheatberries is just wheat. Grains of wheat. We used to grow it by the ton, along with corn and beans. You don't go to the store and buy a can of cornberries or a bag of beanberries, so why wheatberries?

All my pet peeves tie to not paying attention, and being unaware of how one's actions effects those around them.

That is essential with my F350 longbed.

No matter how silly I know this peeve is it still bugs the shit out of me: If you're a cashier, don't pull the receipt from the machine and try to hand it to me along with my change (bills) - hand me the bills, then the receipt or vice-versa, but keep them separate!

Drivers who come to almost a complete stop.....while making a turn off a main road.

What are these bills you speak off? Does anyone still pay with cash?

Another pet peeve: people who will waste two minutes trying to find exact change and holding up the 3 people in line behind them.
Dear God lady, there is no discount or prize for digging for those pennies. I will usually pull out a quarter or dollar and give it to the cashier just to get them out.

Yes!!! That drives me nuts. and the bills are not all going the same way. grrrrr I reorient them AFTER I leave the line so as to not hold up the next customer.

I believe cashiers are taught that during training so it probably isn't going to change.

But on the other side how about those paying with plastic who fudge up their pass codes....or their card doesn't "work'....meanwhile the card reader asks an assortment of questions before finishing the transaction...do you want an emailed receipt...do you want cash back...do you want a fuel additive....zip code please.....name of your youngest born....:confused::mad:

People who walk a long diagonal in the street instead of just going straight across,
People who see you backing your truck out of a space and walk/drive right up behind you instead of waiting 5 more seconds
People who shout WOO HOO!

Oddly I'm annoyed at people that DON"T acknowledge a text.

My daughter does it all the time, makes me crazy.

My wife as well.

I'll text her about dinner with a choice of what to prepare and my preference.

She'll get home and nothing is ready and she says "I thought you were going to do...."

Well, you did not respond and when you don't respond to the two choices I give you, even though I know I expressed a preference, I know either choice will be wrong the second you walk in the door so I don't do ****.

Now you get to wait.

That's why I don't fool with debit cards. CC, receipt yes, I'm outta there.

I'm guessing by your retaliatory reply that you are an exact changer?

I think I know what you mean. My wife does it sometimes. I used to work for a guy who did it all the time (driving a Pinto). Driving along with one hand on the wheel and wants to turn into a driveway or something. They whip the wheel to the left a 1/4 turn so they can get up enough momentum in the steering wheel to make a sharp right without having to put both hands on the wheel. Is that what you mean?

-advertisements on the ATM machine, hey honey I was at the cash machine today and an ad for a $3k vacation popped up....
-placing more and more cheap crap in the middle of the store aisle that used to have room for 2 people to walk past each other - I don't need a pack of 5 more cheap screw drivers, if I wanted more screw drivers I would go to that aisle and
- speeding up to cut off a big rig that has his/her signal on trying to move over - help them out, back off and blink your lights so they can move over easily ( I don't see many communicating to the truck drivers this way, I guess it is a lost art or something)
- on hwy 5 in CA and you can see a constant line of cars for miles - people who pass/speed up, in the right lane, to 90 or 100+ to move 2 cars ahead (hey dude we are already in a nice line here doing 80)
- in Sears, after finally finding the Levis I need after looking in 5 locations because the same model of Levis are spread over 1 acre - going to the check out counter and there is nobody there - there should be a law - if you stand there for more than 5 minutes the stuff is free and you can walk out, it's like they are going out of business - oh wait they are....
- people who don't know that their car has high and low beam headlights
- drivers merging on to the highway thinking they have the right-of-way
- robo calls, if I wanted to get my house remodeled I'd call someone, I don't need you to call me, the don't-call registry doesn't work very well IMO
- people who stand close in the check out line (this was already mentioned)
- buying something online and then you get email ads for the same thing - WTF I just bought that and now don't need it/them
- Lexus with the stupid looking big front grill - when will they tone that back to a reasonable level?
- car dealers thinking it is OK for stuff to break when the car is under warranty - No it is NOT OK, I don't want to waste my time coming in here and dropping my car off/etc. because of your poor engineering decisions.

true...but how about those that pay with a personal check...but won't even get the checkbook out to start filling it out until everything is totaled. Couldn't they at least fill out the pay to line while waiting??
