With only 19k miles it's just starting life. I like the side door into the camper, really let's the rear of the coach be functional . Is there access from the cab into the camper?
|
Yes, it does pass through to the cab, here are a few interior shots and shot with side door. Last year of the good powerstorke, so super stoked about that. Having the crew cab for the kids will be really nice on the road. Heading to Scottsdale and Grand Canyon over Xmas break, don't have to worry about snow on I70 :)

Wow, that brings back memories. My mother used to take us the See Lion Caves when I was a little kid. Every year we'd drive up the Oregon Coast to see her family on summer vacation. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1449760096.jpg |
I just spent the early morning scanning thru this whole thread.
Strong interest in the off-road rigs, food for thought. For me since recently returning to the mainland the highways and state roads are calling to me, so much country to see. I realized that I haven't posted my home on wheels. At least here. It's a 1989 airstream 35' motorhome. Built on a Chevy P 30 truck chassis. With a 454 TBI , with gear vender overdrive. I'm loving the rig. Til the temps drop below freezing. Then you are supposed to be heading south. I've still got the tropic blood. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1449760388.jpg |
Man that is a sharp setup. Having a dinghy is a thought for us as well, but most of our stuff is place to place. I do think a extra motorcycle rack, along with the bike rack would be use full.
|
Mike have you checked out Patz's hot rod moped?
It could be a fit at under a hundred Lbs, pretty easy to find a rack to hang it on. A couple of baskets and you are ready for a quick trip to the store. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/894387-fs-hot-rod-moped.html |
Saw that, but I have this
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1449768077.jpg 150 pounds, combine that with my Thule and 4 mountain bikes, and I need to visit a welder to make something custom so that it is stand alone from hitch... |
Sweet trail 70!!! Buddy had one when we were kids. In had the 50.
|
Oh.that is nice Mike and a good fit for your needs.
I did see that really long rack on your smaller rig, you kept that one? Never seen one that long. Yep it's a challenge to mount a rack so it's up to the increasing load we want to hang on it. Kind of like storage, if there is space it gets filled. Maybe a little utility trailer would be a choice to consider. The kids will probably think of more toys to bring. |
Our home away from home when my my wife is "doctoring". Delivery and setup was part of the deal when we purchased this as we have nothing to move this behemoth with.

Wow nice GMC arcsine! Love the Mcgiver engine hoist. Great having the NEW ENGINE.
The interior is looking really nice, have you revarnished the woodwork? You are going to end up with a gem! Are you located in Port Townsend by any chance? I came across the mother load of GMCs there http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1449775367.jpg |

Mike, if you don't have an objection, can you PM me what you paid?
I will be in the market soon and I really like the set-up. I have been up the Tiger RV website and I am impressed. I will be spending a lot of time in SC in the coming year and I'd rather spend the money on this for my company than rent. |

That is one serious heavy duty RV, except for those rickety stairs. Probably have to hyper mile drive to reach 5mpg. Still what a beast! Here is the other end of the spectrum. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1578505549.jpg Cheers Richard |
