Let the Super Bowl begin...
My SB (aka, The Ray Lewis Bowl) Questions:
. - How will Balt. deal w/Kaepernick & the "read"? What will be Balt's answer? - Will they over-focus on Kap & Gore - leaving the Speedster James free to run (4.6 yrds/carry)? - Will they over-focus on Niner receivers, leaving Moss & James open? - Will they attack/rush the D-line constantly - forcing the issue for Kap? - Will SF use their "Power O-line" often against Balt's D-line? - Will the kicking game play a role? . - SF's defensive backfield is suspect - will Flacco have a good passing day? . My observations: I recorded the last 3 Niner games & Nevada's win over Boise St., what I notice about Kap's passing style: -His tossing style is pleasing to watch; spins the ball like "Slinging Sammy Baugh"...more so than any other QB I've watched...but... -He throws hard & high when he misses early in the game...chances for tipped passes/interceptions. . Would Ray Lewis have as much attention paid to him based on his abilities if he wasn't such a bleeding heart blow bag? . I'm hoping for a good game, most of all, but I like the Niners for this one. . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ . Place your bets - any predictions/likes? . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ . 49ers.com | Player Roster . I don't watch the hype. Guess I'm just hoping for a close game, not a boring blow-out.
Oh, and I predict that the Harbaugh coached team will win...

Alex Smith will see playing time in this game.
Niners kicker Akers is shot. He will blow the game for them if given the chance. Two weeks to prepare for their overhyped offense - advantage Ravens. Ravens receivers will dominate this game! Niners have no pass rush. These guys 'ain't' Atlanta folks. Regardless, no way Flacco, Reed and Lewis leave that field a loser. Bleeding heart blow bag will get his SECOND ring! Ravens in a tight one!

Bravo! Don't be shy.
![]() Hopefully this will be the official SB thread & no one posts the score in the subject line of a different one. BTW, I have $1k on this game.

I got in early and got Niners -3. Current line is 3.5 so I'm feeling pretty good. $1k is my annual gambling budget!

Go Niners! But I am afraid that the Ravens will be tough to beat.

Kap is a passer & a good one who also is a good runner. The Ravens must play the perfect defense at all times; a very difficult assignment.
Take away his running and Gore's running and Kap will have James. If the Niners win, this will be Greg Roman's night. Both clubs just barely won their previous games. Not sure what that means, but there it is. Niners D backfield must be perfect against the Flacco long ball. I too have a few hundred on the game. Enjoy sports fans.

I see a hard-hitting game. SF has speed & Ravens have passion, ala Lewis.
Just read that Montana has said that his '89 team would beat the present Niner club. FWIW.

While SF teams are the lowest form of life on Earth (GO Dawyers), I do like Colin. I could care less about the Ravens....nice to know that my opinion on the former UNR QB is validated and the pro scouts were idiots passing on him until the later garbage draft rounds.
Hoping for a close game, good commercials and no blow out....
