Sunny day in SoCal

Yesterday some friends invited me to play golf at Marbella Country Club, I can't play there, it's private. I haven't played for a long time but went and did bad anyway, may not ever get another chance to play there. I didn't hit any homes, It was great, but made me once again realize that you either need to play golf, stick with it, or just quit. And as usual, the last two holes were my best of the day, it happens that way to make you come back.
Today It's a beautiful warm day, I have been goofing around, went to the store and as I left I bought some Slim Mint Girl Scout cookies, now I am having a Coors Light and cookies, it's great.

A gorgeous day indeed. I celebrated it by talking the top off my car and driving down to Petco so I could buy a new catbox scooper. Man, what an exciting and scintillating life I lead! It was a fun drive, though, even if I never got out of third gear.

Here in NorOh (Northern Ohio) I got up at 5:10 to slog through the spitting snow, under leaden skies to toil in a factory......WOO HOO.

I haven't heard of anyone talking the top off their car before.
How much talking did it take?

Real so cal people don't drive cabs in So Cal. They only rent them in Hawaii. I have 2 cabs and the top almost never come off. SmileWavy

My wife came home so we went to local Mexican place for dinner and I changed up to Pacificos. It's pretty nice out, shorts, no sweater, no jacket. I haven't told her about the Girl Scout cookies yet. I keep secrets.

What is this thing, "sunny day," that you guys are talking about?

Which Mex joint? Have you been to El Patio in Capo Beach?

The high today was 84 deg. with sunny skies, low humidity and a faint ocean breeze 5 miles inland. Someone wrote on FB that the planet simply doesn't offer better weather than what we had today in Los Angeles. I'd have to agree.

Sunny every day here... but we have snow on the ground and it's only 45 deg.

76 here today, sunny, good top down weather. It is almost always good top down weather around here. May go over to Skyline on Sunday for a little miata thing.

84 down below today & 69 where I am (3,400 ft. elevation), and it's still 60 at this time. I fired up the tractor & did some brushing with the landscape rake. It was fun.

We used to go there when there was still surf at Doheney, before the harbor was built. Don't go much anymore. We went to the new place, "Besame" by Gelsons/Starbucks, where the cars meet Saturday mornings. Try it, you'll like it.
Are you living over by the Ritz now? My friend that lives in Marbella pointed out a little place for sale, just a few million, I think there was room in it for you and a couple bikes. It didn't have a moat or drawbridge but it was pretty big.

Las Olas is a must visit. Great drinks and food right on the coast. Casual...like only SoCal can be.

Screwed around and ran some errands. I had to use AC by lunch today. Came home and walked to my neighbor's down the street and had lunch on his deck. Discuss his landscape lighting for a couple of hours. Hang out with the kids and walked back to school by 7 to see the homemade telescopes in action. It was a beautiful clear night. What's not to love?
