pretty cool. what..4 of those equal a regular chicken egg?

LOL on mail delivery. Here in LA you can get them on every corner Asian food store for cheap.
I can't say they taste much different. I like chicken eggs better. My quail consumption is birds - shot by yours truly and pointed / retrieved by yours truly's dogs. ;) G |
more like 5, man are they good... "Our quail are raised as naturally as we can. This breed of quail is extremely resistant to disease so we have never had to use any medications on our birds. Absolutely no hormones will ever be used in our flock Our quail are all fed a vegetarian feed. We supplement their feed with flax seed to boost the omega 3 value in the eggs. During summer months the quail also get to dine on the scraps from our wonderful vegetable garden. Eggs are gathered several times a day to ensure they do not get too hot or too cold when the weather is extreme. "

One of the local redneck bars - where they have mud bog races the 3rd saturday of the month - has pickled quail eggs in a jar on the bar, 25 cents each.

It is Joe. I don't know who thunk it up but I'm glad they did. I know this is a quail egg thread but there's another unbelievably good oyster dish served locally called Prussian pearls. Oyster on the half shell, teaspoon Absolute Pepar, small dollop of sour cream, small sliver of red onion topped with black caviar.
