Good webcam?
 

Apologies if this has been covered already but I need recommendations for a good, low cost wireless webcam. Something that I could leave in my home or business to catch intruders, etc.

I have no idea how these actually work, do they run all the time and leave a 24 hour long boring movie on your laptop? Are they motion activated? I want one that is really small and indescript, hidden would be great. And no, I'm not making surreptitious porn but I'm sure this is what they use when they do. :)

Slodave just installed one in his carport. You might try and get in touch with him to see which one it was, looked pretty cool.

Dropcam. I have several. The are motion and sound activated and will email or txt you with alerts. You can also subscribe to their DVR service for like $10 a month. Super easy to install and setup.
