Played with fire tonight
I got the bug to build an alcohol burn stove. Fun. Anyone know what carbon felt is? I don't. I used body shop fiberglass. Works great. I made two diff stoves. They both boiled a pan of water fast. Unknown volume. Ill geek out tomorrow with a stop watch.

I think the carbon felt will wick better.

My drummer is also a flame effects technician. Alcohol works pretty damn well. We also have some pretty cool displays in the backyard at parties.

FWIW, carbon felt works really well in my Kelly Kettle.
