Montreal: pre F1

I am in Montreal on business until Thursday. The F1 crowd has already started to arrive here. The Ferrari team are in my hotel - Novotel on Montagne - with the boys in red in the lobby this morning & piling into a van to head to the team garage.

On the streets last night we spied Ferraris, Lambos, Ford GTs etc which are typically rarer here . . .

We also had teenagers partying until the wee hours since it is prom season.

Ok. Some Pirelli guys just checked in, including a very hot candidate for a grid girl.

I have to hang in the lobby all day for meet & greet . . . but there is a bar . . .

Sorry still no pics. The Toro Rosso guys checked in & I was greeting some of our dealers & turned around & I introduced myself to a a nice English woman who then informed me that she wasn't with our group but she worked for Williams. She said that the team heavies arrive tomorrow.

My son is there now. Got in yesterday, will be there thru the end of the week. What a great time/place to have to go to for a presentation! He won't be there for the race, but he should get to see lots of the F1 people/teams/girls!

The beauty of Montreal is that it is as close to feeling like Europe as possible without crossing the Atlantic. Thanks for the pics Ian. I have been there a couple of times.
They make great pizzas too.
