please do NOT let your dog kiss you!!

I was on a job today where my customer had a clog between her house and the septic tank.
There was a cleanout in the yard which was great for me cause I did not have to drag all my equipment into the house, anyway as I am setting up everything the women's dog was by my side the whole time "helping me"

When I started running the sewer machine which makes lots of noise the dog got scared and left me alone and I did not see him for awhile

So I clear the clog and pull the snake out and of course the snake head was full of toilet paper and tampoons

I cleared all the crap off the snake and dumped it on the ground and then I walked to my truck to get a trash bag to clean up the mess

Yup you guessed it, in the 30 sec it took me to get back the dog had returned and eaten all the TP that was on the grass

Now being a Plumber there is not much that can make me gag but I stood there looking at the dog and it was all I could do not to throw up, and of course the dog just looked back at me as happy as could be

My mastiff used to go diving for "toasted almond bars" in the cats litter box.

She also went after her own.

Winter time they were known as poopsicles.

Thankfully she out grew the habit.

My new pup, Buzby, had just eaten some kitty truffles (cat poo) and I picked him up to gently tell him that it wasn't such a good idea when his tongue shot out and got me in the mouth. I said to my GF if I die of about 150 different diseases in an hour that is why.

Our stupid dog used to get the feminine hygiene product out of the bathroom trash can and chew/lick them with delight under our bed.

It was gross.

On the other hand I heard that the old Germanic warriors let their dogs lick their wounds to make them heal better and faster. I also heard somewhere that since dogs are gentically equiped to eat cadavers and thrive their saliva is a desinfectant and cleanser. Any truth to that?

Yup. I've got a couple of dogs who are always looking to raid the catbox for the freshest possible cat poo. I always try to remain a step ahead of them. Another one loves to raid hamper for my wife's undies. What the heck, man?! What is it with dogs?

Of course it was gross! It's gross just reading the description on the page! I'll never unring that bell!

For a dog, that's like Almond Roka.

I was deep in southern Mexico. We took one of those Eco Tour and stopped at some small village in the middle of nowhere. There was a little boy taking a dump right in the open with about three dogs waiting for him to finish so they can have their chocolate bananas. Those dogs clean house. There was not a trace of crap on the ground. They licked it clean. Those dogs ate everything and nothings happens to them. Tough little guys compare to ours.

Dogs are pretty filthy animals at their core. I know "man's best friend" and all that but there's a lot they do that I find pretty revolting.
