Some pics from beach cottage

Just a couple of miles from a big music fest this weekend headlined by The Dixie Chicks and Waylon's kid, and others. It's unusually hot this weekend, 32 C. Great for outdoor fests. Go Chicks! and God bless America

What a cool looking place...what area?

yellowperil 07-06-2013 08:35 AM

Cavendish Beach in Prince Edward Island (North side). PEI is a nice place to live IMO

Love Shooter Jennings. The Dixie Chicks can pound sand. Female version of the Monkeys.

I heard that "everybody" is white on PEI as 50% are descendant ex Scotland and the rest are descendant ex Ireland and UK ---- That True ?

yellowperil 07-06-2013 03:40 PM

Well......I'm none of those. I'm French Acadian. I guess we're sorta "white".

We have everything and everyone here. And we all get along.

widgeon13 07-06-2013 04:04 PM

Idyllic.

billybek 07-06-2013 08:21 PM

We have to get out there one of these days!

Looks wonderful!

Looks like the same cottage we rented 6 or 7 years ago. Can't remember the name of the town but it was just west of the confederation bridge. Beautiful spot.

Sounds like "Seven Mile Bay". Hope you enjoyed your stay!

leaving politics at the door.. Dixie Chicks not comparable to monkeys...

Seahawk 07-08-2013 09:53 AM

Can you recommend any good rental places?

That is a drive my wife and I have been talking about. Flown over PEI (going to an air show in Halifax from the Sikorsky factory in CT and we diverted north for a bit:D) and always wanted to spend a few days there.

Both bands "assembled" by a record producer is what I was thinking.

Me Too

I spent the last 10 days at my summer place in Cable Head, PEI. My kids went to the concert over the weekend and my wife joined them for the Dixie Chicks last night. I took a pass and sat on my butt enjoying a few cold beers. If you look close you can see the tail my '85 in the background. Perfect car to cruise the Island.
