Eagle cam is live!

As I said previously, I finally got a budget to stream some animals at our teaching zoo.

Enjoy!

I think you need a bigger budget. The video quality is not that good.

I am guessing budget is easily consumed by the animals they care for, and the resources they need to teach.

This.

But the quality is dependent on how much bandwidth I can use... the camera itself can do more than super-hi def but I'm limiting the size and bitrate on the video.

Tranquility base, the eagle has... well, it's just sitting there staring at me.

Says the server is not available right now, ah the fun of technology. Very cool project, I will be checking back to see it up!

Yup, didn't have the scratch to spend $ on a night vision camera

Should be enough daylight to see at 645 eastern time according to the calculated sunrise/set times script I wrote a while back

OK, I've bumped the data rate just a little but then I dropped the frame rate to 5fps - motion isn't as smooooth but the images are much clearer now. Also should still work on phones and tablets.

I'm not getting much of anything right now....

I think I spent $50 for night vision Web Cams for my office, which are controllable.
