Recomend a nine mm long spoon?

Just thinking (dangerous I know)

I already have a 9mm hand spoon, what would be a good rifle in the same caliber?

Check this forum for some ideas and reviews. Good idea to have one as it's same cal as your hand spoon. I might well be interested too but love my M1 Carbines for home defense from Zombies ;)

What 9mm pistol do you have?

Olympic Arms makes an AR lower that takes Glock mags. Iver Johnson made a M1 Carbine clone that takes Browning HP mags. Marlin Camp Carbine takes S&W mags (but buy some extra buffers before you shoot it). Beretta made a carbine that takes M9/B92 mags. Keltec makes/made the 9mm carbine with variations that took several types of mags - Glock, Beretta, etc.

Or, if you don't care about mag compatibility, then you have more options...

What exactly are you looking for? Pistol caliber carbines rock

IMO, this is the question... you should have compatibility of magazines...

I love my sub 2000.

for a cheap ghetto blaster, the highpoint 995 is fun for plinking.

my sub 2000 uses glock mags, which is one of the reasons I bought it.

Would love that but not going to happen... It is a Star... not the best known name in the world but it goes bang every time I pull the trigger and is relatively accurate out to 25 yards.

Not mine but looks like this:

A 9mm AR15 platform. That way you should be able to swap parts if needed on a 5.56 AR and other AR's.

I have a Marlin Camp 45, it shares the same magazines as a 1911 as well.

Negative to a 16" a5 acp barrel is that the bullet slows down in that long of a barrel unless you load +P with a lighter 185 grain bullet over a 230 grain bullet. I'm thinking of buying a 14.5 long barrel and adding a 1 1//2 long brake on the end.

Looking on gunbroker (also dangerous)

I like the Kel Tec, Marlin and Ruger carbines...

Really like the Beretta but think it is out of my price range...

So it looks like I need to decide if I want the "Military" style carbine or the "Camp" style... both have their pros and cons.

Kel-Tec Sub-2000.

MP40s give me wood. Only $30k. A real bargain.

I had an AT-22 once (Feather Arms) and they make an AT-9. Dunno if you can get it in Kalif. though cuz it has a collapsable stock. Many small countries use this as their standard issue long gun. No idea what they cost... The AT-22 was a great little spoon and sorry I sold it. It broke down into smaller parts so that it would fit into a soft sided briefcase size case... DiFi would just love it ...not..

What? No one has mentioned a UZI? :p

Yikes! Just looked at the prices on those... never mind!
