Am I the only one who thinks there's something just a bit off about people who would bid $600K for a piece of wardrobe worn by a famous actor?

Well, you kinda had to be there. I grew up watching SMc on the tube and on the screen. Who else went out on location and shot scenes for a motorcycle documentary? He was raw cool and James Garner was sophisticated cool. Paul Newman was just plain cool.

But, no one would want a J. Garner jacket; maybe the driver's suit from Grand Prix. PN? I don't know if a lot of his clothes are collectible to the tune of 6 figures. But, no movie car has been glorified more than the Bullit.

The jacket just goes along with that.

I'm doing a movie now with Mario Iscovitch who was McQueen's personal assistant on The Great Escape, Bullitt, Le Mans and others.

Liquor him up and see if you can get some stories outta him...I'll bet there are some we haven't heard!
