LIberty Mutual
Someone hit my car today, no issues with who's at fault. Called Liberty Mutual, the guy's insurance, talked with a claims adjuster, emailed him pics while on the phone, we discussed the damage, he added in a few hours to make sure it's fixed right, only Mercedes parts, emails me a claim and says let him know when the car is in shop, they'll get me a loaner.
I can't believe how good the service was. Anyone else have Liberty? I may switch over. My car, about $770 to fix. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1374713100.jpg His car. In his wife's name, I don't think she's going to be happy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1374713123.jpg |
I have it ,, they have always been good to me and a good rate..

That will buff right out....

Thanks for letting us know, Shaun. I love to hear about companies with good customer service, especially if I start thinking about making a change.

We have them and they have been really great.
They paid made no fuss when a hail storm destroyed my car and our roof. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Rates are great too. |
We've had auto coverage with them for several years. Added the new house which we bought back in July as well - they gave an incredible premium quote - and then I get an extra 10% off due to being a GA TECH alumni. Have had two auto incidents covered with them - no issues at all.

Years ago I had LM for homeowners and car insurance. No accidents or claims. No changes in lifestyle or credit. After a few years I get my homeowners renewal and they double my rates and drop the replacement cost provision. The agent could not provide a reason why. Dropped them and went elsewhere. Been with the company after LM going on 20 years.
Liberty Mutual can go pound sand. |
Have them for my homeowner's - good tip and I may consider switching to them for auto as well if this is your experience. I'm so sick and tired of dealing with cheapass moron insurance companies that want to substitute aftermarket/used/junkyard crap for repairs and then having to fight with them for days about it. In fairness it's usually the repair shops rather than the ins cos but the insurance companies don't really put up much of a fight about it on your behalf unless you hound them mercilessly about it - at least that's my experience.

they all will low ball you to start
then raise the rates solution there is no point in staying with one CORPrat get bids every time you renew |
Sorry to hear that Shaun. Sounds like your in good hands.... wait, that's the other guys. ;)
|
I'm sure we can have the "they're great" vs "they suck donkey balls" debate for just about any insurance company.
|
I've been with Liberty Mutual since I was 16, so 22 years. Never had any problems with them.
I;ve been in a few benders myself and they never booted me. |
I don't have LM, but I've only heard good things about them. My FIL worked for them 40 years and he was as honest a guy you would want to meet.
