Exciting night in Minneapolis
Was out in my truck for a smoke break tonight and some kid walks up to my coworkers car and starts trying to break in. I yell at him WTF! Then he comes over to my truck and as I am fumbling for my phone, to call 911, he opens the passenger side door. I thought it was locked but apparently not.
I threw it into reverse and floored it. The door knocked him down on the pavement and I drove around the corner to call the police. Hope he isn't hurt. he was gone 2 minutes later after I went around the block. Hope the police catch him. |

Small world.. I'm in Minneapolis and back in June watched some punk walk up to my car and try the door handle. I knew the Police were in the area and called the non-emergency number, he ended up going to jail for possession of stolen merchandise and some kind of identity theft.

Was on 11th ave south. 2 blocks south of Washington
Someone got shot at bobby and Steve's a couple months ago. Never thought that would happen since there are always police there. He was young, maybe like 20 I didn't want to hurt him but wanted no part of his crazy either. The door on my truck is slightly tweaked I called my boss and told him and he was cool with it. Lucky you that you had the engine running. Lucky you that he didn't make it inside. No room for much combat in the front seat of a truck. Either one has a gun or a knife — game over.

Am taking a travel group thru Minnesota next week, having lived there for 8+ years.
Am skipping MSP. Too much of just that kind of thing. Am going straight from the Dells, thru Eau Claire, up to Duluth and north shore into Thunder Bay. So if you see some well-armed Motorhomes camping along the lake, that's us. No handguns, but lots of protection. |
