Bronze Penguin Redux

I made another Penguin last week, just a little different, this one has no base, I cut his feet and tail free, free willy, welded pins to his feet and drilled this White Alabaster for it to sit in/on.
I took a wax mold to a foundry this week to see what it would cost to get them to pour and patina. I should have one from them next week to see what it will cost me to make more and I know they should do a better job than me. I've been doing this bronze about four months, they should be better.

The first one

Cool but why? ... Are you an artist?

Do you do other animals?

His hands were destined for amazing things. These works are in him and they need to come out!

I can understand that. I wish I had something like that in me.

Hey, it's something to do, and I have carved other animals in wood and stone, made a few other bronze animals as well. These two Penguins are about the size of those little things swimming around up by Newcastle.
