I guy I know who owns a reputable independent BMW shop has seen/driven those M-conversions, which are very fast. Too fast, he says. He likes the rarely-seen small-six conversions, like the 2.3 from the 323i. Sweeter.

I cannot imagine that an S14 is too much power for an '02.
