they should hang it up. Hetfield has turned into a friendly little poser..

Good Metallica- back when they were cool:

The movie is a bit much I admit but I'll always be a fan, when Kill em All came out it was perfect timing for me, in High School loved the sound it all fit. I still have my Metallica airbrushed denim jacket I'll always go see them listen to them daily. Man they are turning 50 this year so their "attitude" has to change.

Metallica hasnt done anything good since And Justice For All.

This is the garbage they put out now....

Hetfield is a car guy...

I've never really taken to Metallica, but I think Hetfield has some badass rods!

Wayne Newton has some cool cars as well.

Metallica 1988: "GET THE **** UP!!"

Metallica 2013: "Goodnight fans! Metallica loves you!!"

I could even do Black album, but after load, NO THANKS.

BlueSkyJaunte 09-06-2013 09:19 AM

Ghey. I'm listening to this instead of the Jamez and Larz Show (TM):

I guess I should apologize for the hijack. (I don't listen to Wayne, either.)

I don't think it's even possible to "hijack" a PPOT thread. OT is .... OT.

Kill em All, Master of Puppets and ride the lightning get played in my truck almost daily.....Garage days as well......NO Budgies original version of Breadfan sucks balls in my opinion......Would still go see them now, but more for nostalgia than the current output. Hey....things and people change, including artists.....I understand some people even listen to "country music"!!!!!! OH NO!!!:D

Eric 951 09-09-2013 09:30 AM

ever since watching "some kind of monster" I can't stand them. Newstead got royally screwed--they totally lost "it'.

lane912 09-09-2013 10:07 AM

yup -
the whole "we are not working and if you want to do music you are out of the band"

They are essentially a NU Metal band these days, ****ing sucks. SHould be touring with Korn and other whiny acts.

Newstead was the end for me- after that, forget it.

Tough room...

Just another old band "reuniting" to ride the money train ala Van Halen, Police, etc.

And who can blame them? As long as people will line up to pay the crazy ticket prices.

Kinda funny what music has become... punk rock, heavy metal, rap music was all about being anti social and rebellious... now they are all mainstream and all about the money.

I wonder what the next rebellion in music will be? Bluegrass?

Actually maybe the next thing is electronic music... I hear they are having huge festivals all over... my niece just went to on in Los Angeles... I was talking to her about it and she was "oh, uncle Scott...you wouldn't understand this music". My wife said "on no... he listens to everything"
