My winery got a little bit of love!
HI guys -
some of you know that I've got a vineyard and wine label - we're located in Napa and grow Cabernet Sauvignon, and market under the Dos Lagos Vineyards label, our winemaker is Robert Foley. A Blog Post came out that is pretty complementary about our operation and I thought I'd share it with you all. Uncorked Ventures - Blog - Dos Lagos Vineyards And since the Pelican crowd has helped me out so much on my various vehicles, mention that you are a fellow Pelicaneer and we'll give you 20% off anything you might wish to purchase. Thanks for your support in the past - everyone - and please give us a ring if you are in Napa anytime soon! cheers tom (tadink) |

Nice! It's fun when someone "gets it." Congrats.

Nice!
I was in the Paso Robles area last weekend with the RV and did some wineries. I'll keep yours in mind for when I get to Napa. |
nice review, congratulations! Do you have a link that shows where your wine is sold?
|
Congratulations!

I luvs me some Cab, I'll try some.. rjp |
Wow, congrats on the article! Had no idea we had any Pelicans with a serious wine business. We've made Napa an annual trip for the last eight years and Pride has been a yearly repeat since we first found it in 2010. Just wish I could bring the 911 to make the drive up Spring Mountain! We will definitely pay a visit this MarchSmileWavy

I LOVE Spring Mountain. Collected it for years, down to last 2 bottles.

Thanks you all - SmileWavy
This has been a bit of a journey, but the results are starting to speak for themselves! We have limited distribution - some in NY and FL, also TX. Otherwise we sell direct via the website. We're working on some other key restaurant placements, but if you are in NYC you can find us at DelFrisco's, BLT and others. Dallas is Hotel Zsa Zsa, Pyramid Room, Chamberlain's Steaks, French Room. Other sporadic placements in FL. We sold most of the crop to Caymus in 2007 (our first year of owning the property) and to Robert Foley ever since, and he makes ~200 cases for us. Prior to that, the fruit was sold to Stag's Leap. Looking forward to meeting anyone who makes it out here - Cheers all! tom |
mmmmm stag's leap. and Caymus, have a few.....
Congrats on the write up and hope for continued success! Cheers |

Nice review Tom!
My friend owns a winery in Napa as well: Autumn Moon. Do you know him by chance? |
congratulations, free ink is always good for business.

LOL -
easy you bunch - we don't have any hogs, wild or otherwise! The "lagos" are LOADED with Bass, I went 5 for 5 one spring - 5 casts and 5 fish! Some get pretty big, our vineyard foreman loves to fish and he's pulled some lunkers out! if you'd like to stop by, pls let me know ahead of time. We don't have a tasting room....just the vineyard and the house. Contact info either PM me or check the website for contact details..... Don't know the guys at Autumn Moon but I've heard of them.... Thanks all - we're pretty small so when we get press like this I wanted to share, thanks for the great comments! cheers td |
