Did you see the price? $845K if my eyes didn't deceive me. Do I get a tax credit?
But it is super fast and nice. |

Goverment will Help
From and earlier article.....
"The 918 Spyder is eligible for a potential $3,667 federal tax credit for purchase of advanced hybrid vehicles, if you were on the fence about that $845,000 MSRP and it is eligible for HOV lanes where applicable." Nothing stopping you now ![]() |

The thing which gets me about this car is that it looks like a petite cab forward design, but it isn't.
It's about the same size of the Carrera GT, which is though not a large car, it isn't RSK/RS-60 sized either. http://www.roadandtrack.com/photos-porsche-918-spyder-1#slide-3 ![]()

My buddy and I were at the Nordschliefe a couple weeks ago when this went down. It was maddening trying to get videos of the thing. They'd do a lap or two then be gone for 2 hrs...only to reappear and rip off a nother couple laps. Sounded like no other car. Almost like a slightly de-tuned F-1 car. You could hear him coming half a minute before he go there. Wicked fast!
