Well... In order to afford a Porsche or two we have to keep that hopper on the pier full of product. |So if our roles were reversed, A) I'd probably not get
that sandwich and B) You'd never see anything in that hopper and C) I'd probably knock the wheel house off that vessel which wouldn't be a good thing.

Also he's a great guy, kind and easy going. Likes to eat. Think Stan and Ollie.

yellowperil, why couldn't the crane operator drop out a line with a hook on the end so you could hook the handle of a one-gallon bucket to it with his food and drink inside?

He could pull it up, hand-over-hand, get the food and drink out, then run the bucket back down to you. Over and done in less than a minute.
