That is quite a long time.

James,

I was just thinking of him last night. Wow 8 months.

I hope he is ok.

I miss his posts as well.

Kind of OT, but what happened to Vash?

stomachmonkey 10-28-2013 12:45 PM

No one seems to know.

I heard he was involved in a horrible body waxing gone wrong.

I think buckterrier pissed him off. At least, based on his last post.

I searched on Google for him as extensively as I could. I couldn't find him on linked in either. I found an old biography of him from his law firm, that he no longer seems to have an active license in Vancouver, where he was based. My fear is that he went back to Germany and something happened to him. If something happened in Germany, any news paper would be published in German, so I wouldn't have found it. Maybe someone can do a German Google search for him.

Can you point me to his bio at the law firm? I'd like to take a crack at it.

Good guy and one of em I was hoping to meet some day. Hope he turns up OK.

Nostril Cheese 10-28-2013 04:50 PM

Anyone consider that a lawyer might not want to be found?

GWN7 10-28-2013 05:33 PM

If you have the name of the law firm call them and ask about him. Tell them why you are looking for him and they will either tell you nothing or might pass your contact info on to him. If he has passed they might tell you. If he went to Germany and isn't coming back they will tell you that he is no longer with their firm. They might give you contact info for him in Germany.

I hope he's ok. I enjoyed his posts.

+1 I'd like to at the least know more about him. He was one I always like hearing from. We could all learn a thing or two from guys like him.

He lives/d in Hamburg. Last time I was in the neighborhood, I PM'ed him, but he was in Mallorca then. Pretty sure he had a thread here about building a house in Hamburg. I have a good buddy there who works in the tv/radio biz and could probably easily track him down or at least any mention in a local newspaper. German white pages are actually pretty good. Everyone there has cell and land lines. I can also read any German paper, if someone wants to PM me his personal info. I only knew his first name.

livi 10-28-2013 09:59 PM

Would be good to know he is ok.

dipso 10-29-2013 05:31 AM

I'm sure if he wants to contact anyone, he will.
Jeez, leave the guy alone.

creaturecat 10-29-2013 06:19 AM

I am in Vancouver.
Someone wants me to do a drive by, shoot me an address.
I miss his intelligent banter; which reminds me, where is Joe, the foe?

Considering the last time we heard from him he was just out of a tough battle with cancer, I think some concern is warranted

Thank you.

dipso 10-29-2013 09:00 AM

Well, so what. Are you afraid he bumped his head and forgot how to log into Pelican?
He's either dead, pretending to be, or is not interested anymore. It's kind of weird you guys are stalking him. Even thinking about doing a drive by.
Jeezus. Talk about nosey busybodies.
