I like this one. Isn't the C4S a widebody?

Yes. That's another great looking car. Though there's no mention of recent maintenance, and at least one of the pictures is from Sept 2012 (temp tag date). Price seems high.

Matt, that price doesn't seem THAT far out of line for a C4S with that mileage. They seem to be holding value better than the narrow bodied cars. Obviously not near Turbo levels, but definitely at/around low $30k.

When I bought mine, it had 87k miles and I got it for $27k. Cheapest one within reasonable distance.

I agree, I think $30k is the sweet spot for the C4S right now. I've seen some nice ones with a few miles for the same ballpark as yours, which is probably where I would look. The $30k 997 is going to make a $30k C4S a bit more difficult.

Very true, those days are close. Or are they already here?

I'd say they're here, I've seen a few similar to that one for $30k or less. Now that the 997 is "the old model" I expect we'll see a lot more of them.

For a 'disposable' car, who cares about the title?

That screams track car.

I wish I was ready to buy. I still need to sell my 964. :(

I predict this will be sold by Friday.

Higher mileage, but very nice looking C4S in here in Columbus, OH. Guy is clearly loves the car.

Why would you paint over the center reflector? Also the fact that the spoiler is deployed in every picture is a little suspicious.

Hal, looks like a good car at a fair price. You mentioned "lots of extras to sell", mind providing a little detail as to what you'll be selling?

The douchebag hyperbole in the ad is enough for me. Not much mention of maintenance work for a high mileage car. Poor fitting aftermarket front bumper and a full respray - very possible it was in an accident and that's how he's playing it off. 997 turbo wheels look like the incorrect offset in the rear. No thanks.

Halm 03-03-2014 10:20 AM

Matt, I will offer the buyer first dibbs but if he declines I have: 1. BBS RS-GT wheels, 2.) real deal Porsche GT3 hardback seats, and 3.) real deal Porsche Tequipment GT3 roll bar.

Hal, if the buyer doesn't take them I might be interested in the wheels and/or seats. Shoot me a PM when the time comes and let me know what you are needing for them.

Halm 03-03-2014 10:34 AM

Matt, will do. They are what make the car really special, but push it out of the "affordable" category. :)

Totally understand. One thing about modifications, you never get your money back out of them. Smart to return the car closer to stock, sell it at a lower price, then sell the parts separately. I wish you were selling the PSS9s as well.:)
