The Boxster Red interior has an orange hue, especially after it fades a little.
|
The interior is probably darker than it looks in the photos. For that price you could dye the interior to a darker hue if you wanted. I've done a whole car. It's a meticulous process but not horrible.

I like this trend, especially moving into colder weather!
Who's got a 996 TT Turbo X50 or Turbo S to sell me? I'm sitting on cash waiting for the right car! |
I really like the blue or black TT, I'll wait

Just to add more fuel to this fire, this past Friday, I sold my 2002 C4S (ROW) here in Panama for $20,000 with 33.6K miles on the clock. To be fair, it needed about $4K to make it perfect. Pending repairs that the new owner is on its way to do are: dropping engine and tranny to replace leaking seals in the transmission, repaint calipers, replace head unit, replace headlight switch, replace vanity mirror on passenger sun visor, set of new tires, and brake pads all around. Sadder story is that even if I did those $4K of pending repairs, the sale price would have been pretty much the same. I know this as it took me nearly a year to sell the thing.
