What a bunch of whinny no money snivelers . "Ooohhh I don't like this or that" ... "Look he took a picture of his finger" If it was my car I'd give them the whole finger instead of just the end. Don't like something, don't bid but keep your yap shut or ask a reasonable question.

Good luck with the sale. I love browsing the site. You have to realize it's not a Porsche enthusiast site and you will get stupid comments/questions. The sellers who respond in a knowledgeable way but don't get into the muck with the few idiots do the best. I had a friend list his longhood 911 that was gorgeous through a dealer in our town on BAT who got nasty with some of the stupid questions and it pretty much shut the bidding down and the car didn't sell.

Forgetting for a moment the idiot comments on BAT, I think this will be a very interesting auction. Personally, I am not familiar with Lone Star but I sold my 996 several years ago.
This is the first time I have heard of a "top-end" on a M96 motor. So Marc's car falls between a typical 996 with a used replacement motor (no extra value) and one with a Raby motor (nice premium). Wonder how that will be valued??? Also, FWIW, the Porsche Tequipment roll bar is the best you can get as far a bolt in's. Super nice. I had one in my 996.

Congrats on the sale. I watched that one and you seemed to have the right bidders involved.

$11,000 for a 2001 996.
It’s a tip with high miles, but looks good. https://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/d/2001-porsche-911/6657527007.html

Here ya go:
I’m in the Uptown area of Minneapolis right now and could look at this for someone. It’s probably a bit of a toilet but I’ll also bet you could get it for a lot less.
