Love it. Considering the handling they were able to get out of a solid axle, I'll be interested to see how well the new IRS works.

Looks great. Grill robbed from Aston ala the current Fusion and headlights look like LR Evoque/Jeep Cherokee. Bubble hood is also an Aston look and very unMustang-like but it's working and I like it. After the Mustangs rebirth this is certainly better than the Mustang II was!

Yea, one of my Mustang loving friends said they don't talk about the box Mustangs much in the club. Like the 80s Corvettes are just ignored.

Rumor has it that it is considerably lighter also.....I can't confirm that, but it still has that ugly high belt line. MOS, stylewise.

It will also be interesting to see the result of their weight loss program. Unlike GM, Ford seems to have realized that lightweight makes everything better, they have already mentioned an effort to get 700 lb out of the next F150.

Not bad, but a little more distanced from tradition than I would have liked to seen. I'm sure that I'll quickly get used to it.

An ever so slight hint of Hyundai Tiburon in there with the Aston Martin look, but again it's done well enough for me.

Do the headlights take a nod to the older Fox body cars?

I think it looks pretty good. More Ford design elements from across the line up while at the same time moving the current Mustang design forward. I like it.

I do like the detail which harkens back to 1965, gotta wonder if the gills will light up as shown.

I like it! Looks nothing like a mustang... but I like it!

Had a new mustang behind me on the freeway, looking out the rear-view mirror I couldn't help but think of this:

It's a huge leap forward for Ford in the right direction. I enjoyed my '12 Boss but found it far too large albeit nimble to enjoy on public roads. I hope the new, smaller, global design gives it a more intimate feel on local back roads.

I see some resemblence to the Subaru BRZ in the back 1/4 panel area. But that's not a negative -- the BRZ is a sharp looking car, IMHO.

Overall, I think the design is evolutionary, based off the current model, with just a small design element aimed at paying homage to the older Ponies. The independant rear suspension is definately a plus.

I agree the beltline is a bit high (like so many cars these days) but it's not a bad looking car at all. Nicest Mustang in a while.

I like it, now let's see the Boss with the IRS....

I'm still driving my old '92 Fox Body as my DD when the weather cooperates.

I can definitely see some BMW design language, and its not just the back.
