Ya... An account is free, not that hard to set up, and it's easy to use.

I've bought on German EBay, never signed up for an account, my US account, login/password, worked just fine. Last buy about 2 yrs ago, but still log-on to check prices on "stuff".

Yeah, you need a German, or possibly any other European based account because it says this seller does not want to ship to the US. The item then will be shipped to that account and whoever that is can ship it to you. Sounds possible but complicated. You can also click on the blue "Verkäufer kontaktieren" line and gert in touch with the seller to see what could be arranged.

There is a fine line between doing somebody a favor and a scam. I don't mind doing people a favor as long as it is straightforward.....

Do you have an Ebay.de account registered in Germany ? If you would be willing to help please PM me and let me know. The seller refuses to consider sending to the US.
