Horrible acting, but when I saw it in high school I thought it was the greatest movie ever! We all went around quoting the lines. It is painful to try and watch it today, it is so dated.

He was good as the young PBY pilot in the movie South Pacific, but no doubt best remembered as Billy Jack.
