That's so sad to hear.
I was fortunate enough to hear them play as they toured with the Simon and Garfunkel reunion tour back on '03. Simon and Garfunkel were very good, even though Art was having trouble hitting the higher notes, but............. The Everly brothers were superb, out played and out sung Simon and Garfunkel. Rest in peace Phil |

Probably my first introduction to true harmony....I remember killing the battery stone cold dead in dads old Dodge Monaco listening to the Everly brothers.....Thought he was gonna string me up.....instead he brought home an acoustic guitar a few days later, no small feat in the small "fly in fly out" northern town we lived in.
