A COUNTRY FRENCH DINNER FOR 8 WITH ERIN AND KEN INSPIRED BY JULIA CHILD AND THOMAS KELLER

Enjoy a 5 -course country French dinner for 8 prepared by Mark Minkoff, a graduate of the California Culinary Academy. Featuring Julia Child’s signature dish Boeuf Bourguignon (burgundy beef) and dishes inspired by Thomas Keller of The French Laundry.

The setting for the dinner party will be at a quaint country French private residence in Newport Beach.

This dinner is offered for the month of January 2014.
MENU

Hors d’oeuvre
“Mustards Grill” Goat cheese, sun dried tomato, basil and vinaigrette crostini
And assorted cheeses.

First Course
Cream of wild mushroom soup, white truffle oil and chives.

Second Course
Mesclun greens, pear, pine nuts, shallots and Roquefort salad.

Third Course
Carnaroli Risotto le crème with prawns.

Fourth Course
Boeuf (Beef)Bourguignon, roasted fingerling potatoes, and haricot Verts with herb butter.

Fifth course
Crème Brulee bread pudding with whiskey vanilla crème sauce and fresh berries.

Each course will be paired with fine French wines generously donated by Amazing Grapes, Rancho Santa Margarita.
