Will this fly?

Who wants to be the first passenger? |
Perhaps...but a crash is guaranteed.
I predict it will fly all the way to the scene of the crash.
Duct tape.......lots of duct tape.
First, define fly. A couple Mercedes flew at Le Mans back in the 80s. This might do the same.
I doubt it will ever get off the ground as heavy as it is.
1700 pounds, not bad for a homebuilt turd. He could shave weight if he lost a couple wings. He might need a bigger motor. Perhaps a J79?
anything will generate lift if it is moving fast enough
I think he has some weight to power issues on top of all the obvious.
Give him credit for trying with few resources. No FAA there to pester him, nor to save him from himself. |
the landing gear broke twice at less than 10mph.
For his health, I hope this does not fly. BUT, God love him for trying. I hope it figures it out. |
Go Orville Go....
I salute him, (while ducking and running) |
Made of angle iron? Gee wiz, high tech
Ah ....NO
? Oh yeah, changing the spark plugs will definitely do it.
Hope they do it !
Perspective.
That's all I got..... |
Way too heavy to fly. Here an ultra-ultra-light is made of PVC, aluminum and vinyl sheets with a 50hp motor. What does he have in that thing?
Mugabe airlines.
There's a Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority?!?
And he's bucking them? That's just awesome, lol! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/kPsjlwjU39U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
He gets a "AT A boy" for doing more then most people will ever do for their passion .
I love it when the Nay Sayers say "it cant be done"...... 40 years latter they still sit on the same bar stools experts at everything to everyone . |
