Bob Anziano died

Heard through the grapevine that Bob Anziano died a couple weeks ago.
Obit;
Robert Anziano

Robert “Big Bob” Anziano

Loved by all, Bob Anziano passed away peacefully doing what he loved, working on a classic 1972 Challenger, in his shop in Santa Ana, CA.

Born February 3rd, 1943 in the Bronx, New York, he is survived by his loving wife Janet, his two daughters Gina Mika and Lisa Yuka, his two sons Cody and Tony Anziano, and his brother Chuck Anziano.

From an early age, Bob developed an unparalleled passion for cars; from mechanics to design, Porsches to Lincolns, he did it all, and he did it the best. We will never forget the innovations he introduced to the automotive world: his Cal Air Flow patents, his Illusion body kit, and his Lincoln seals. A car wouldn’t leave his shop until it was perfect. He produced only top quality cars and products, and he never disappointed. His work graced the cover of magazines and made the Anziano name international; his true interest helped him connect with, and touch, countless people around the world.

Bob was truly a legend; he was an inventor, an entrepreneur, an artist, a designer, and an adventurer. He was a hard, but great man; a husband, a father, a teacher, a mentor, a s.o.b., but all around a good time guy. Bob loved work and was driven every day by his DIH (do it himself) attitude and his passion for excellence. He was a true McGuyver and he could fix everything and build anything you needed with his bare hands. We now turn his tools over to God’s hands.

So many people will dearly miss Bob. May we all come together to share stories of him and his infamous shop; whether we were stopping by with a legitimate car problem, or just to hang out and shoot the s**t. You will always be in our hearts Bob, may you rest in peace and never have to fire anyone again.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, 3:00pm at Fairhaven Memorial Services - 27856 Center Dr., Mission Viejo, Ca 92692
