Heading out tomorrow on a little trip to Maine, as usual, we go often and it's always
fun. Not taking the Porsche this time. Music and reading, to take my mind off the hammering from the engine. (Something sounds like it wants to get out.) There's a Corvette show in Bar Harbor, may take a look. They usually don't like strangers in strange (non Corvette) cars.

First time I was in BH a few years ago I saw an air cooled red 911 cab downtown. I think I saw it later at the golf course. Heading up in a couple of months. Nice place.

I love it up there. If you havent been there checkpout the Owlshead museum if its even close.

Went as far south as Camden, Me but mostly in and around BH, Me. My old car cruised happily at 80 mph which is a treat for us as the roads on PEI are not at all good.

Took in a Corvette show in BH and a car show just outside of Moncton, NB at the Maritime Motorsports museum. My good friend John Johnson's early 50's Norton Manx resides there, as well as other bikes and cars(not known to me).

Stayed one night at the Bass Cottage B & B. Was very nice. Also nice regular Hotel
The Harbourside.,

Also, to explain the Shell station pic, with the Port a Potty. We stopped there and my wife went in to use the Bathroom and was directed to the Portapotty outside. This was their everyday facility. Not nice.

+1 for Owl's Head, great place to visit. So is the Maritime museum in Bath. Warren
