Thinking about a replacement boat since I sold my 13 ' Whaler. Due to my garage size I am thinking about a 16-17 foot center console. I'm in negotiations with a seller of a 1996 Hydrasports 17 ' ( 16 ' 9 " ) center console with a 1989 Yamaha 90 hp outboard. Per the seller late last year he had his mechanic go through the outboard for $1200.00 for carb rebuild and other. The receipt for this work is available. Sitting on a single axle galvanized trailer in what appears to be good condition. I think I can get this rig for 4k any thoughts ? Just looking for a fishing boat/fun boat for inland lakes. Web searches seem to indicate that Hydrasports were one of the better boats/hulls OMC produced.
