CZ 175cc, someone needs to slap me...
|
you've come to the wrong place.
|
But it. If she hates you for it, I'll give you a small profit for it. ;)
|
Looks very cool. Sold with bill of sale. Thinking of only riding off road?
|
Ya I just saw that Richard... I'd want a title.
|
Think of the cool factor and the gas savings and getting to use the carpool lanes and the dirt-cheap registrations and the ability to park virtually anywhere (including the parking garage at LAX) for free and the ability to split lanes and be immune from traffic jams and insurance bills that cost less than one's monthly Starbucks budget...
Yep, bad idea I tell ya. ;) |

Oh, I get it... bill of sale = no pink slip...phew, that was close ;) I also will presume parts are unobtainable? |
I didn't know CZ made a street bike. I remember in the late '80s, CZ made a few dirt bikes that were just like the ones from the early '70s, except they didn't have the expansion chamber underneath the motor. I thought they were cool because they looked like my DT360 with taller forks and longer shocks.

It's priced either right, or slightly over. No title? I mean, wtf? The owner should apply for a new one.. it takes a bit of paperwork but it would increase the value of the bike by about $400.
Unless someone bought it without a title back in the 80's or 90's and has been riding it illegally for years and just now figures its time to get rid of it... still.. stupid thing to do. If it had a title, it would be a super fun cafe project. Throw a small seat on there, some clip ons, strip the fenders, etc etc etc. As-is, I think you're required to wear a jean jacket at all times while riding it. |
want.
|
You do know you'd have to change your forum name to "rebelmandue" if you bought it, don't you?
|
Jeebsus. If you don't do it, I will.
|
I've seen guys riding 250s on the freeways, why not a 175?
Do it... Do it... :) |

I have owned the 125cc version of this bike!
It had the exact same look. When you want to start the bike, you press the gear-shifter in, lift it up and then it is used as the kick-start! The oil injection pump on mine broke and the piston and cylinder was scored! The 125cc had 10,5 hp. If i laid flat on the tank it did 115km/h. I was 16 at the time! Regards Tommy |

As much as I love the idea I don't have $600 burning a hole in my pocket plus the cost of a new helmet (presuming my twenty year old Shoei needs to be replaced ;)) and wife and I are not on the best of terms at this moment, blah, blah, blah.... If anything you could buy it, register it, and flip it for a profit... if anyone is interested. Would be cool to roll up to the coffee shop and park this next to all the Vespa's :D |
Hmmm. If that map in the ad is correct, my parents live in the same neighborhood.
