Have you ever noticed how many cool, peripheral cars are in that movie? I mean besides the yellow 356 that is the fantastically hot JB's ride. I saw an XKE, a couple Healeys, nice Camaro at the car wash

I especially enjoyed the chat between TCM host and his guest, William Friedkin, the oscar-winning director of The French Connection.
"Bullit is the best cop movie I have ever seen. Steve McQueen's performance was spot-on." He then went on to talk about many of the subtle nuances in the movie that supported his opinion. Such as how McQueen's expressions and eye contact needed no dialogue to drive the point home. Etc. ... I watched some of it last night with closed caption on...I got more out of the movie than my previous watchings. . Thanks for the heads-up.
