I think people might be more inclined to help if you post more than an x-ray of (presumably) your foot. Age, symptoms, duration of discomfort, injury, history, meds...all might go a ways toward someone offering an opinion. The 3rd, 4th and end of the 5th toes look hosed to me.

Not A podiatrist, but I broke a toe once and it took 6 weeks to heal. Nothing to do other than take it easy and suck it up.

I don't see a break... but I'm sure that tiny arrowhead is very uncomfortable.

Did the Little Indians attack?

Very funny, John. :D You get the "Laugh of the Night" award. :)

Funny to YOU, maybe... not to Jess, I bet.

And look at the angle... they snuck up and shot him from behind.

Tiny Indians will do that, I've heard. They are very stealthy.

You guys in CA have to worry about cougars/mountain lions, though... so you're not safe either... have you ever seen one when yer out prospectin'?

I have! Mamma and two cubs. We were able to get quite close as well. They were more interested in the water. :) Bobcat too. :)

Of course it's funny to me! It's not my foot that was hit by a tiny Indians arrow!

I'm 47, extreme swelling and bruising, happened Wednesday night when I kicked a table in a dark, unfamiliar house I was a guest at. ER doc's diagnoses is three or four broken metatarsals. He felt surgery of some sort is in my future. Hoping to get into podiatrist today.

In a "walking boot" now. Pain is nearly unbearable. Hydro condone is really upsetting my stomach and ibuprofen isn't beginning to touch it.

Most of the pain will be gone in the first 36 hours. Good luck with the recovery.

It'll feel much better when it stops hurting.

Yeah I know, big help.
