Bike control....

On the subject of all things bike, Harleys and donuts, helmets, MotoGP.....

This is completely socially undesirable behaviour, but these boys can trick on big bikes. The guy on the orange bike in the back half - unbelievable.

I do not see why it is bad behavior...They were not out in the street. We all have our own hobbies .
i think they are GREAT !

I wonder how many sets of plastics, and handlebar grips these guys went through getting to that point ?

Nostril Cheese 08-20-2014 04:06 AM

I'd like to see some of these guys on trials bikes. Think of how much more they could do.

You're right. Lets head back to your place, throw on some Perry Como and have milk and cookies.

These guys aren't a problem but the thousands of squids that try to emulate what they do, on public roads, are a problem. Monkey see, monkey do, monkey **** up and crash... sometimes taking others with them.

What a waste of a nice sport bike... A trials bike would make much more sense, but then, sense is not what they have in large quantities. You should watch Geoff Aaron some time.

Supermoto bikes are very capable for "stunting" as well.

These guys are good, but it comes at a physical toll. Cool :)

I don't know; I bet lots of these bikes have been saved from the 'scrap' heap and repaired/modified to do just this sport. I don't think these guys are buying nice bikes and tearing them up and welding stuff on them etc. I bet it's a few $K proposition.
Seems like good cheap fun! REALLY CHEAP if you compare it to club racing!

I've had the pleasure of seeing a number of these kinds of exhibitions at local bike shows and rallies. Very impressive. Far more entertaining than the traditional motorcycle drill teams and all of that.

Wow. My license says I know how to ride a motorcycle but now I'm not so sure...

Put me there too.

Wonder what these guys would be like on a race track in an actual race, they clearly have the skills to power slide etc.

This is more what I had in mind. Same skills, on a bike that is made for this sort of thing:

Sorry about the crap music in the background...

The kid across the street from me is one of those "stuntas." He recently bought an R1 (not his first bike) and his first mod was to bolt on a cage. I'm sure he's not the only one to do that with brand new stuff, though it's probably more common to spend $4-6K to buy a used late-model Japanese sportbike and learn on/crash that.

And I see guys vandalizing a parking lot.... if someone gets hurt the property owner gets sued.

My hobbies don't involve trashing/trespassing on someone else's property.
