Samsung Plasma Stand needed....
 

I know this is a long shot.....but does anyone have a Samsung Plasma TV mounted on the wall?

After four plus years I finally got my custom made oak furniture and flat screen back from the ex. The floor/table stand for the flat screen is missing. If you care to part with it.....Cash plus shipping or pick up in Southern CA.

I have a Universal wall mount that you can have for free. Not a table mount, but free.

I bought a Samsung plasma a couple months ago and put it on a wall mount. The table mount is kicking around the garage. Not sure it will fit but if you buy me a couple drinks I'm easy.

It has X shape feet and a L shaped bracket that connects to the back.

I'll dig it out and look at it when I get home.

I see them at my local Goodwill all them time. Can you round up a pic of what you need?

This is what I have, unfortunately the screws that hold it in place are lost... pretty sure they are metric.

Thanks, hit 3-4 goodwill and salvation army stores. No joy. Samsung said NLA, sent me to an aftermarket supplier, 25 minutes on hold....NLA. eBay, couple that are close but not compatible. Geez, only 5.5 years old.

Said screw it, ordered the Craigster special.

If anyone cares.....This worked but it was the absolute limits of the fastener points.

I now have a decent source of mindless drivel. :rolleyes:

Sorry what I had wouldn't work... I felt the same about the "only five years" my Samsung is only a year old, there is no reason to redesign the stand.

Yeah, I haven't peed on his lawn in over ten years......

What pisses me off is the bolt pattern on the back is (somewhat) standardized (VESA).

And that stand I posted a picture of (soon to enter the recycle bin) is so flimsy if you opened a window and a good breeze came through your shiny new flat screen would topple over!

Shiny yes, new no.....the ex has had it in storage since the divorce.....PITA was holding it and my furniture hostage. Had to threaten going to court to finally get it released.
