Part of me feels for the guy, but another part of me thinks "this is the risk you take parking on the street."

That's some amazing reporting. It states that he's 60 years old but somehow was also born the same year as his car, 1973. Maybe he was "born again"??

That's the rag that simply makes stuff up.

I agree. Parking on the street is an obvious risk. Although, from that rags credibility, he was probably talking about dinner plans.

The guy is so bored, and so rich (close to $1BB), that all he owns now are the 00001 cars and cars like James Dean's 550 (kinda morbid). That RSR was a race car. It's been hit before. If the lady taps it, take it in and get it fixed. Bid deal.

The author of the article clearly didn't do much research. "Jerry owns at least nine other Porsches...." Maybe it was a typo & the author meant to type "ninety".

Also, "The star’s impressive range of pricey vehicles are the subject of his TV series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee." In fact, most of the vehicles featured on the show are not his.

Actually, I think that all of the cars on the show are his. Despite closing credits that suggest otherwise.

If that paper prints anything true, it's by accident. They just sit down at their computers and let the old imagination fly.

Actually, he sold most of his run-of-the-mill and dealer purchased cars. The dealer ordered 993 Turbo S was sold, as was most of his early purchases from his buying spree in the 90's. He certainly has more than 9, or 12 as stated early in the article, but the big numbers he had ten years ago is whittled way down.

Does anyone know if Seinfeld has ever driven any car on a track? He looks like a complete poser driving that RSR in it's track livery on the street.

That's a ridiculous thing to say.

Most of the fellas on this BBS would absolutely lose their mind if this poor lady tapped their Mid-Year or SC with her car.

Nobody except Jerry and the woman know for sure what was said in the exchange. From what I have seen from Seinfeld over the years I'm sure he handled it with tact. Anyone on this forum would surely have had some anxiety about an elderly driver getting close to your car, RSR or otherwise. To suggest otherwise is disingenuous.

I would have let her hit me...

Seriously now...how does he drive a 911 with Nike Shox!?

I'm also sure that stupid late model 5-Series was having a kanipschiut with all of its warning bells, whistles, and camera... it does look like she was pretty friggin close

+1. Seinfeld has always been classy. And those who can't sympathize can go get their run of the mill F150 dinged and try to be as tactful.

Yeah how dare he drive that RSR with those stupid sunglasses on, too. What an idiot.
