Cabela's has bricks of 500 Remington Goldens for $ 25.99 right now.

Been happily buying 500-1000 rounds of low end target ammo whenever I've had the money for the past year and a half - SK, the new Norma Tac-22 stuff - all good and accurate. Have bought 150 rounds of low end stuff as test fodder at high prices (Fed Lightning $6/bx), but needed it for function testing. Sitting on the last 1k of bulk I bought pre-election in 2012 as I could afford it - my FAL conversion kit will ship one day, and I *will* have ammo to go shoot it right then.

One day I'll move to Free America! I'll buy a FAL.

Saw a used but near minty pre-import-ban SAR-48 at the local show this weekend on a private party table, asking $2500. A bit much, but probably worth it.

Couldn't sell 10 metric mags for $120 - everyone said they could get hundreds for $2 each... sure, 20 years ago :)

Try living in the Tri-State, NY NJ and Connecticut area.

Between the weather, the taxes, and the politics you couldn't pay me enough to do that
