Just because you have filled a 1tb drive with illegally downloaded movies, you are not necessarily meant to be a Linux admin. Same if said movies are porn. Goes double if you like to play Everquest and "spend time playing on the computer". And if you have troubles following step by step directions, and paying attention to detail, you may want to contact the Disabilities Services office on campus, have your condition(s) documented, and ask for reasonable accommodations.

hahahah. Nice. So having thousands of hours on the xbox and rooting your android or jailbreaking your iDevice doesn't make you a linux expert? Hmm, I don't follow that logic.

Jailbreaking hte phone and doing neat stuff with it is a better indicator of curiosity and the desire to see what makes things work, and at the very least the ability to follow step by step directions. So given the choice between an everquest/facebook addict vs. someone who has explored on their own, etc. I'll take the explorers and curious ones every time.

I just switched from working on zOS to working on Linux. World of difference.
