I have never cared for large vehicles. While I appreciate the advantages of mass for certain driving characteristics, generally it is in ways that does not endear the car to me. A car around 2000 lbs, even a bit less, with plenty of tire, that is what I am after. I can live with not much tire if it is light. 165 mm is not much, but it can be enough.

This car looks Chinese and should sell well there.

A couple of years ago, I was at Madonna's house (long story) and peeked into her Maybach (not a euphemism). Pretty excessive. She had a couple plastic bottles of Poland Spring water in the [plentiful] cup holders.

Maybach and AMG are MB's 'high end / high performance' divisions. Years ago, AMG was an aftermarket company, but MB brought them inhouse. Maybach is a throwback to one of Benz's first large, high end cars, IIRC.

An AMG - you drive. A Maybach - you are driven around in.

And yes, the seats recline for -- resting -- and other activities, I suppose...
