Technically not a 175, but I think this guy is exceptional.

I like this idea. I can send you a kazoo solo if you want to splice it in. :D :D

No kazoo, but I did find an early mix pre-sax. Instead, more guitar and some spoken word. I'll have to find my kazoo sample...

I decided not to buy it, even though I really wanted it. Absolutely beautiful guitar, great neck and plays very nice. I'm just not ready for an instrument like this and much more comfortable in buying a telecaster. I'll see how my playing goes over the next year and reevaluate if I'm ready then.
I appreciate all the input into this thread.

The tele is a great choice. The new ones are excellent although I wasn't thrilled to see the contouring on the back of the body that they are doing now. Just doesn't look right to me. But otherwise they are awesome and very inspiring to play. It won't seem like a compromise at all because you will love it once its in your hands. I have a 2013 American strat and I absolutely love it.....I did put vintage style tuners on it though. Very simple to do and makes a big difference to me in appearance and performance

I'm a hacker with nothing useful to add, but I sure like reading what you more knowledgeable guys have to say!

Nostatic, thanks for the remix. I really enjoyed it.

I'm seriously thinking about buying this guitar for rockabilly and swing and would consider putting a bigsby on it. This is a lot of guitar for someone with my limited skills, but I like it and am committed to be able to play by the time I turn 50.

I just ordered my Tele and it won't have a contouring body. I don't think of it as a compromise, I love the way they feel and sound!

As much as I wanted it, I just can't justify it. It's such a beautiful guitar.

Posting my fave Tubby Tele because it always gets a laff. It was new once. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1417569277.jpg
