Report it to the moderators.

I've noticed a few old posts getting bumped by brand new members. Not sure why, but this seems common from spammers.

Builds post count so they don't seem too suspicious.

Best

The "new members" are actually replying to a thread and imbedding links in their response. You don't see the link because it is hidden in html as an IMG. I reported about 4 such spammers in this past week. Their userids are usually a mashup of consonants and vowels - like "xrdhkh". As a test - if you see such a post - select the quote option to reply -- and you will see the imbedded link in their message. Don't bother to actually reply - but please DO report the post as spam using the symbol that is shaped as a white triangle with the red exclamation mark.

Please *don't* hit reply on the spam posts as that adds another "hit" on the image. I believe this is SEO spam where they are trying to get extra hits to the server to bump up their clients.

Please just hit the report button and a mod will delete the post. The pattern is that they quote a random post and embed their tracking link. They auto-sign up, post twice in the tech section, then twice in the OT section, then they disappear.
