Read an interesting article in the latest issue of Popular Mechanics about this company. I'm not in the market for a watch right now, but when I am I think this might be worth a hard look. Any of the watch junkie Pelicans own one of theirs? What does the community think?

edit: It looks like some their movements are made in house, including one tourbillion, but it appears some of them use ETA ebauches or other maker's movements.

Cool. But they sure are proud of them...

They make their caliber 801 in-house and they have a few different variations of it, which is cool...A Blog to Watch (a top watch site) used to write about them but then last summer put up a disclaimer that they will no longer be writing about them due to a dispute that they couldn't disclose. Weird. Over all their rep is pretty positive.
