It is known that the Curry men grow late. He will shoot up before it's all over.
Keep an eye on his younger brother at Liberty University too.

FYI Steph was my son's suite mate at Carolina Basketball Camp when they were 11 or 12 years old. My son came home, and told me how the camp instructors were all over Steph back then.
Michael Jordan's son was at the same camp. He drew some attention too!

Is your son a college player? Must have been something going to those camps.

Curry has huge feet that almost look to big for his size. Supposedly they did some scans and tests and reckoned he could grow another 2 or 3 inches.

I feel fortunate to have tickets to watch them in their small arena at Davidson where every seat is a great one. I hope he stays for his senior year - his parents and Coach McKillop want him to and those are the people he respects most. Either way one day he will bring a load of class to the NBA and be a great roll model for kids.

Liberty plays Climson today. Seth is incredible too.

Davidson has a beautiful campus, with a very nice, intimate basketball facility. It is one of the schools that my son visited, and applied to. One of the perks is that Davidson College provides "free" laundry service. They guarantee 48 hour turn around. When we toured the laundry facility on campus, we saw the packages wrapped in brown paper on the shelves waiting to be picked up!

I have the impression that the Curry boys are well grounded, and know the value of a good education. I would be surprised if Steph were to leave school early. If the situation arises, I'm sure that it will be well thought out. He is a class act, and will make a great role model.

When my son was attending Carolina Basketball School, he told me about parties that Curry had in his room. These were by invitation only, and had a $1.00 cover charge. I asked my son, "why would you pay to go to a party?" His response was, "Well Dad you get a couple slices of pizza, a bag of chips, a drink, and a bottle of water. Plus, you get to play video games, it's worth it."

That's a great story! I passed it on to some local friends.

The laundry is even one step better - its open to the public. While not free they will do shirts for I believe $1. I have a friend who uses it regularly and also eats in the student union on $4 spaghetti night.

Bert Beagle, FYI Brooks Haggerty, the goalkeeper for the UNC men's soccer team was my son's roommate at that same basketball camp.
As I type this, UNC, and Maryland are deciding the NCAA Soccer Championship.

Don't know if there are many NBA fans here but Steph Curry had another big day! Just like he was at Davidson he is still a class act and roll model that some young (and old too) folks could wisely follow today.
I'm not the least surprised at his achievements.
In his MVP address he thanked by name about everyone in his life. It was an impressive speech for still a young man. It's on u tube.

He did indeed bring a load of class to the NBA.

I listened to the ceremony live on the radio yesterday. Lots of tears. He is a special guy. Not to mention a phenomenal basketball player.
