Yeah, but if you go elsewhere in the country, you won't see any of them even though you'll see plenty of other Audis.

Subaru is similar. They sell a ton of them in New England, upstate NY, Minnesota, Washington and similar places but you'll hardly see any in the south (at least until recently).

Don't ever buy a car - any car - from the northeast. Trust me on this.

I'm a wagon fan and baffled by the lack of interest here in the U.S. When I was shopping for my used A6 wagon, I found that most of the ads were in NY, NJ, or VA. I was thrilled to eventually find a CA car.

My car is a 2008. In 2008, Audi sold a total of 11,956 A6s in the U.S. Only 1,119 of those were Avant wagons. A6 sales in general are booming with 23,941 sold in the US in 2014.
