That limo held up amazingly well.

Eh too much wheel base... "did you see me" "sure did" hahaha

flipper35 07-23-2015 09:06 AM

I love how they expect a 2 million pound train to stop in a hundred yards.

widebody911 07-23-2015 09:18 AM

It held up well because it just slid down the tracks, so it didn't have to absorb all the impact.

MBAtarga 07-23-2015 09:52 AM

I think that was all staged from the limo's perspective.

"Good brakes", the Train Engineer mused, causally lighting a cigarette, "but certainly not great brakes..."

I can imagine why a limo company would stage something such as this. Safety. They build a stout limo. However, I can't imagine why they wouldn't implement a lifting mechanism to "un" high center the limo, and remove it from the tracks.

That train stopped pretty quick, and it wasn't because of the limo. It was just riding 4 rails.

Hugh R 07-23-2015 10:19 AM

Better yet, you'd think the limo company would know what RR crossings they can traverse.

flipper35 07-23-2015 10:42 AM

So this is why they build limos from H1 Hummers!

rusnak 07-23-2015 11:54 AM

I really don't like white limos anyway.
